I Just Suck

• I can never say the right thing at the right time. I saw an old friend Sunday, her Mother has been placed in a nursing home since the last time I spoke with her, and she's had a sever stroke. I'm very concerned about how my friend and her Mother are doing, but I lack the "talent" to put it in words at the time. I say something stupid about I'm sure your Mother knows your there for her. After I leave I think of a lot of better things to say. Just today somebody at work was asking me why sectors on hard drives go bad. It actually made me speechless for a second, because Ive never really thought about why they go bad, I just know they do. I just suck.
• I forget everything. I forget phone numbers, dates, appointments, everything really. A close friend of mine told me all I needed to do was to write down these things on a notepad. I would have pencils and paper lost everywhere in that event. I'm thinking of starting to use Outlook or something to try and help. Ive been really embarrassed on so many occasions for forgetting friends birthdays. I was talking to a friend just yesterday and she was telling me we were born on the same date and told me my birthday without hesitation. That really amazes me. I like to say its because I smoked dope when I was in college, and several years after college, but I didn't smoke that much. I just suck.
• I really want to begin a diet. I want to eat organic foods and drink water. I want to exercise and lift weights. I have grand plans of turning the exchange students room into a workout room when he leaves. Will it happen? I hope so because I'm not getting any younger. I hope so because my daughter needs a strong role model. I hope so because my health is more important than my looks. And lastly I hope so because writing this down may make me actually do it. I'm just a little scared though, because mostly I just suck...
