Well, the cable guy just left after hooking up HD and DVR. The first thing he tells me when he walks in, is that he knows nothing about it, seems I'm one of the very first people in this po-dunky place that has HDTV. The picture is awesome, after I explained to him how to connect it, of course it came with component jacks instead of the DVI that I really wanted (I hear they cost a lot though). The sound is only coming from my TV, I ran him out before he screwed that up, so now my mission is to figure out optic audio. I'm sure I can do as good, if not better, than he managed. Oh well, electronics, YEAH BABY!

BTW, I do like the new BLOG post dashboard. Anything with spellcheck wins my vote everytime...

I think this picture is beautiful... 

I remember riding my bicycle, I may have been 9 or 10. It was one of those goofy looking banana seat jobs with a chopper front. That was the style back then, 1971. We used baseball cards in the spokes to make it sound cool, and I remember being able to ride for blocks with no hands. We would ride on one wheel forever, I would probably break my neck doing that now. We would ride so fast the bikes would be shifting from side to side, and our bodies would be just the opposite, pumping the bikes for more speed, faster & faster, not letting our butts ever hit the seat. Streamers fling from our sissy bars while we raced through the streets to horseshoe lake to collect frogs. Me and Mickey Smith. I wish I knew where he was now.
