Is it just me, or does it feel like Thanksgiving to you? I should've known when I started seeing Christmas stuff in Wal-Mart. One thing I do enjoy about this time of year is home-made dressing. I know its never the same as Mom's, but I just can't seem to find any that tastes as good as Mom makes. Oh yeah, and the new Xbox will be out next week...SWEET.
I think I know why I stopped blogging, im drawing a blank. But I promise, I will keep thankin! lol...

Count to 10.....9.....8.....
I have a keyboard/mouse combo fetish. I've tried to kick it, but I cant. I've owned probably 20 different combos in the last 5 years or so. The first mouse I paid an extravagant amount for was the RAZOR VIPER, it was $100 and I really didn't like it that much. One of my favorite mice has been this MS INTERNET MOUSE, it was well before the optical & cordless craze, but it felt so good in my hand. One Keyboard that I just had to have was the ZBoard. It was decent, and the interchangeable keyboard layouts were cool, designed for different games and all, but I forgot, I'm more of a mouse user than keyboard user, so I didn't use it too much, and I hated the cord. I've been through several different combos since those, but this is my newest love, Logitech's Laser Mouse & Keyboard. I'm sure it wont be my last set, but for the time being, I love them. But.... Houston, we have a problem! I sat down tonight to surf my usual haunts, and as I was typing my space key was sticking, WTF? I paid $125 for this and its messed up??? So I gently pry off the space bar and somebody has spilt something "Gooey" in my priceless keyboard! And before you even think it, the keyboard is well out of my distance! So, I go to work with Alcohol and Q-tips and get it all cleaned up, but now I feel like my keyboard has been stained, so I'm thinking I need to start looking for a replacement. All I can say is, they better not let me catch who did it!

Time To Bitch...
OK, I guess one reason I decided to post is because I haven't been able to rant anywhere else. Hmmm, maybe I have been able to, but in doing so, I didn't get sufficiently satisfied. So here goes...
- Who was the genius that designed the parking places that are just wide enough for people to park next to you, open their car door and grind it into the side of your vehicle? ARGH! Yeah, I know there may be just a tad enough room if you hold your door, trying to prevent it from springing open onto the awaiting 30K SUV next to you, but does Joe-I-Don't-Give-A-Damn hold his door? I don't know who is worse, the parking lot stripe painter or Joe.
- It wasn't too long over a year ago that I said I wouldn't drive a car if gas was over $2 a gallon. Sheesh. My question is this; Where did all the fuckin gas go? I thought the whole purpose of Bush bombing Iraq was so that we could have gas! Way to go GW!! Damn, I'm a southener, Carted gets ripped for giving away the Panama Canal, but shit, he didn't give away all the friggin gas!
- Take the computers away from stupid bastards!
- Cost of living. Um, did I miss the memo that explained how the hell were supposed to save money when prices go up and there isn't any raises? Can you imagine having a minimum wage job with kids? And they wonder why poor people spend all there money playing the lottery and buying Jim Beam, if they didn't they would just be giving it to the man.
- Cats. Don't give your kids cats. They multiply faster than rabbits, then want to come in your house and piss on shit. I'm buying a pellet gun!
- Teenagers. Yeah, I know, through history they have been a royal pain in the ass, but is it just me or are they spoiled rotten these days? Damn, are these the people that are going to be wiping my butt when I get to the old-folks home? Maybe I should buy a .45 instead of a pellet gun!
- Hunters = Dumb Fucks ...nuff said
- Charities. Its ironic to me that CEO's, Movie Stars, & any othe rich piece of shit out there tries to dump money in dumb ass charities to save paying income taxes. Um, I have a better idea, don't gouge the working class so you can give $ away to bastards in 3rd world countries. Make a little less, GW can lower your taxes, increase hourly pay rate so I can buy the $5 a gallon gas to go to work and wait on your ass! (OK no more belly aching about money or gas, but like I said, it was a rant...My perogative!)
- Phone Tech Support. OK, were paying foreign bastards to read us shit out of books over the phone. You gotta wait on hold for over an hour to talk to these idiots. Just send me a copy of whatever it is they are reading, I'll figure it out myself Rahual!
- Waffle cones. Who decided it was a good idea to put ice cream in a cone with a little hole in the bottom of it? Ok, somebody invent a waffle cone condom already!
- XXX, yeah in hard times I may watch a few minutes of a movie. BUT - I don't wanna see some guy with a prick the size of a midgets arm shoving it up a 90lb girls ass! I wont even get into how that's even possible, but I think that's why women are all concerned about "how big" you are. Get over the breast implants and penis size babe, I promise it'll be OK! My god, when I was a teenager using a finger on girls would hurt them, now they need jack hammers to get off.
- So I go out and buy a $7000.00 high definition 65" TV. Looks great, plays movies wonderfully, but where the hell are the HD TV channels? You know what I bet is going to happen? They are going to be available 5 years from now in a different format that my TV now is able to decode, so I will have to buy a different type of HD TV. SHIT
- LOST, last 2 weeks repeats, WTF?
- Professional sports is now bullshit. Over priced athletes that only want to pad their own stats to get bigger salaries and don't give a shit if they win or not. Quit dancing in the endzone or slam dunking the ball if your 40 points behind! Dumbasses.
- Sams Club. All the food in there is $10. Don't go in there thinking your going to buy groceries and get out for under $200 bucks. I got a box of cereal in there tonight that was $8, are you kidding me? Talk shit about GrapeNuts, but they don't cost 8 fuckin dollars!
OK, enough Bitchin' for tonight. I have lotsa more, but I will save them up for ya, lol. Don't forget to clip and save the attached coupon...

No Book Fee Here...
"...I ain't as good as I once was
Thats just the cold hard truth
I still throw a few back, talk a little smack
When I'm feelin bullet proof
So don't double dog dare me now
'Cause I'd have to call your bluff
I ain't as good as I once was
But I'm as good once as I ever was
Maybe not be good as I once was
But I'm as good once as I ever was..."

I'm Baaaaaaack....!
Yup, like a bad penny. I couldn't stay away. Lots have changed, lots have stayed the same. I haven't gotten my tat or Harley (damnit), but I haven't gotten ink poisoning or a brain fracture either, so all-in-all things are OK. I will start posting again, I miss you and all the good times we had, and even the bad times too. Its fun to look back and see why, where and how. Its good to know where we come from, so we can focus on where we want to go. Cheers...

Ouch!
Has anyone seen that picture of Tara Reid on the red carpet where her dress fell off her shoulder and exposed her nipple? She isn't one of my favorites when it comes to beauties, but she is a handsome woman. I must say, when I saw her nipple, I was completely turned off. It is very obvious that she's had a implant or some type of reconstructive surgery, and it looks as though her nipple was taken off and then replaced after the procedure was finished. I don't even like to touch my own nipple when its hard, why would you wanna screw with something that is so tender? Damn, cant they do the thing where they go in under your arm-pits or something? I for one don't like implants. So girls with them look good, but I dated a girl with some before and they felt like Tupperware bowls when you cupped them, gross. I like the natural thing, so ladies take it for one guy that can appreciate natural beauty. Some lady friends tell me that they have to do it because of sags or whatever, I don't care, leave'em alone! As for them being too big, I can understand wanting to reduce them for health benefits, but don't go adding anything.

Punxsutawney Perhaps?
I have periods of the day that I think about neat stuff to BLOG about, and then I sit down to write and its gone, damnit. Not a whole lot going on, computer has been acting up, but all seems OK now. Life just seems to be going from one day to another, not really meaning anything at all. I wonder where I'm going, where I've been.
I love the rain. I love songs about the rain, I love getting wet in the rain, I love sleeping in the rain, I love the smell of rain, I love putting new wiper blades in my truck when it rains, I love the way the sky looks when it rains, I love being in the desert and watching a rain storm pass. I sometimes think its because living in the south and playing football, I would say a silent prayer if it would just sprinkle even and cool us down during practice. I remember once in a hotel in Atlanta on floor #8, looking out in the distance, through fog and rain, and thinking how life couldn't get any better. I wish I could be there right now, that could be my personal groundhog day.

"Long, Long Way To Go"
You held my hand and then you slipped away
And I may never see your face again
So tell me how do to fill the emptiness inside
Without love, what is life?
And anyone who knew us both can see
We always were the better part of me
I never wanted to be this free
All this pain, does it go away?
Then every time I turn around
And you're nowhere to be found
I know I got a long, long way to go
Before I can say goodbye to you
Oh, I got a long, long way I know
Before I can say goodbye to all I ever knew
To you, to you
From memory, there is no hiding place
Turn on the TV and I see you there
In every crowd there's always someone with your face
Everywhere, trying not to care
Then every time I turn around
And you're nowhere to be found
I know I got a long, long way to go
Before I can say goodbye to you
Oh, I got a long, long way I know
Before I can say goodbye to all I ever knew
To you, I wish you everythin'
And all the best that life can bring
I only hope you think of me sometimes, oh
And even though I feel the pain
I know that I will love again
The time will come, oh, and I'll move on
I got a long, long way to go
Before I can say goodbye to you
Oh, I got a long, long way to go, got a long way I know
Before I can say goodbye, before I say goodbye
To all I ever knew, to all I ever knew
I got a long, I got a long, long way to go, long way to go
Before I can say, before I say, goodbye to you
Say goodbye, say goodbye

You eat what?
You know, I think of vegetarians as being weird people. On one hand I respect the fact that they don't eat other living things (although some would argue that plants are living). But look, sometimes I just have to have a cheeseburger or steak. I'm sure if I saw the process of the places that slaughter cattle or other types of livestock I may change my mind, but until then I'm omnivorous.
Ah, a long weekend, kind've scarey because I'm getting use to them, 2 in a row! Woohoo! Didn't really get anything accomplished. I did do a little work in the office, but for the most part just vegged in front of the bigscreen.
Man, this Collective Soul new CD is really good. I'm so glad to have it. Can't wait for it to come out on the 16th so I can go buy it, I have all of their others. The thing I like about it is that almost every song is pretty damn good.

How Do You Love?
And the truth that you'll find, will always be -
The truth you hide.
So, how do you love
How do you love
When your angels cant sing -
And your world is still lacking of me?
The truth you hide.
So, how do you love
How do you love
When your angels cant sing -
And your world is still lacking of me?
For the price of a dime I can always turn to you.
(I wrote this post yesterday, but when I hit "publish post" I got an error msg and I lost it. Shit, I know It was probably much better than this one, I can't be my cool creative self 2 posts in a row. Blogger Bastards!)
Have you ever memorized a phone number by the location of the buttons on the phone? Or maybe its the pattern used, I don't know and it's probably stupid but I do that, after I know a number for a while I forget the number and just remember the pattern on the phone. I know, I'm flicted or dyslexic or something, but that's just me. There is one pattern I will never forget.
I have a lot of stupid little things I do to help me remember shit. I wonder if I will end up having alzheimers or something when I'm older. Kindve scary actually. I always have to say out loud what color the traffic light is that I'm about to go under, like "Green" or "Red". I guess cause I'm afraid I don't trust my short term memory, I'm always asking myself while I'm in the middle of the intersection, was that red or green??? No I have never ran a red light, but hell, maybe I'm wrong! I've caught myself saying my poker hands out loud when looking at my cards. Not a very "Moneymaker" thing to do, and I have no clue I'm doing it when I do it. Ah, maybe I smoked too much dope when I was younger.

Act Naturally
Our little secret just might be the kind of thing that you can'thide
It's growing like a tangled vine & rising like a river in thetide
And everybody knew when you walked into the room
I was just a fool for you, nothing I could do
Everybody sees you taking control of me
Well I'm not begging for release
I'm just begging darling please, please
Act Naturally
Don't let our troubles show
Don't let anybody know
Till we get it figured out
Don't give them anything that they could doubt
Our little problem doesn't seem to be about to go away
As far as I can tell it's gonna keep on showing more with everyday
And everybody look, yeah, that was all it took
I can't help believing they can read me like a book
So hide your feelings tight till we figure how to make it right
I don't know what I should but I
Would do it if I could
Act Naturally
Just be you beautiful
Just be you casual
I'll be me before the fall
You be you before this all came down
(Act Naturally)
Don't let our troubles show
Don't let anybody know
Till we get it figured out
Don't give them anything that they could doubt

Long Time No C
Well, its been a while, but I'm still here. I guess there are a lot of things I need to talk about, or rather could talk about. So let me see what all's been going on...
-Wendall Had surgery Wednesday for a mammary tumor (breast cancer), She came through it OK I guess, but its so weird how much a part of the family she is. She isn't supposed to jump or do anything real physical, but she insists on sleeping on top of the couch which involves a lot of jumping, oh what we do for pets. I was reading about this tumors online and for the most part, they don't seem as bad on dogs as people. But then it said that there is a 2 year life expectancy after one is removed. Two years? That seems too short. Life without her would suck big time, I can't believe I'm so attached to her.
-My boss at work has put in his 2 week notice. This really sucks. Not that I'm a big fan of his but for numerous other reasons. First of all, any time you have a new boss come in house, they want to change the world. And you have to change right along with them, for the most part I'm a creature of habit, changes suck. So we are down to 1 Supervisor on 2nd shift and 1 on 3rd, and 2 on first, so anytime someone on the back shift wants to be of, I have the wonderful decision of either working 2nd or 3rd shift, or working 12 hours the days they are out. Work sucks, I need to win the lotto, or find a rich woman to take me away.
-I went to the movie tonight and saw "Friday Night Lights". A movie about high school football, and it did bring back a lot of memories, some good and some bad. It was weird when you actually played though, hard to describe but almost like you don't hear the crowd at all, and everything is moving in slow motion until you get hit, then eveything explodes into action. I wish I could go back and redo it, as I would redo lots of things. I know, wish in one hand and sh*t in the other and see which fills up the fastest huh?
-A friend is going to Ft.Myers Fla to do some computer work. Just hearing that name brings back so many memories. I know I will never forget.
Well, I thought I had lots to talk about, but actually I guess I don't, I've worked like 21 days in a row, so its just been work and then home. I guess that at least keeps me out of trouble. But I'm off 2 whole days in a row now, no real plans, maybe washing my truck & watching the Braves, nothing exciting.
